Animation. Part 2.

Make sure the looping option selection box in palette Animation states Forever which means our poor smiley will be caught in an endless loop with no rest or sleep, well... unless fuses blow or something. Sorry, I can't go on , I am welling up... All right. Now is a perfect time to specify a time delay for each frame. If it helps you could try all motions in front of the mirror with the stopwatch. Although I strongly recommend you lock the door before acting out the sequence for fear of your relatives questioning your mental stability which would provoke unnecessary worry.

I have set a 1 second delay for each frame and 0.2 second for blinking. Lets click on the Preview button in Tools palette and see what we have:

Well, what can I say... I do'nt know how about you, but I like it , I really do, but a little dynamic motion won't hurt don't you think?

To achive such an illusion set delay time of Frame 4 to "0 sec.", duplicate it, activate layer Layers1, link all associated layers and shift all that stuff one or two pixels upward using the Move tool.

Select frames 4 and 5 by clicking on them while holding down a Shift key on your keyboard and push the New frame button.

Now we need one more frame to achieve a nice smooth transition between the beginning and the end of the animation . Here is how it is done. Duplicate the first frame, move it to the end of the sequencer line, in the layers pallete uncheck the link that connects Eyes1 to Layer1 and shift eyes approximately halfway as they are on the first and last frames. Delay time - 0 sec. Like this:
